I happened to have some extra days off last fall that led me to a wonderful week off in New York City with the two most important people in my life, Paige and my partner Laurence.

Paige and I have long fantasized about moving to New York together, but we hadn't even gone together to visit. We've had many canceled trips in the past because we couldn't afford air fare. Now that I am a flight attendant, we could finally take a trip together. It was truly one of the best weeks ever.

I also went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, of course, so there are some photos from there as well.
